On Sunday 21st November, a Christmas fund raising event was held by the Slovak International Women‘s Club for the fourteenth time in Stara Trznica at SNP Square, Bratislava. The fund raising event is organised by the International Women‘s Club, a non-profit organisation of women from 40 countries who live Slovakia.

The members of the international community in Slovakia have expressed their close relationship to our country by participating in such an event. They have contributed and collected resources for the charity. The proceeds collected at the Christmas fund raiser are distributed to various charities in Slovakia. Each country represented at the event had its own table.

Foundation Sovicka, represented by Zdenka Kukanova, was also present for the first time at the Slovak table. At the Christmas fund raiser, the book „Cooking with Ambassadors „ which was written by Zdenka Kukanova in cooperation with Ambassadors representing various countries in Slovakia, was sold and  autographed together with the New Year Calendar of the Foundation Sovicka.
